Privacy Policy.
What personal data we collect through fjvtech.com and our communications, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible for your data
FJV Tech LLC (“FJV Tech”, “we”, “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you:
- visit fjvtech.com (the “Site”);
- contact us by email or through the Site’s contact form;
- interact with us as a business contact, prospective partner, supplier or job candidate.
Our products have their own privacy policies. Chately, for example, publishes its policy at chately.co. When you use a product, its policy explains how that product processes data — including the data our business customers process through it, for which they are generally the controller and we act as processor.
3. Data we collect
We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed.
Data you give us
- Contact data: your name, email address and, if you include them, your company, role and phone number.
- Message content: whatever you write to us, and any attachments.
- Business relationship data: information needed to evaluate or carry out a partnership, purchase or supplier relationship (e.g. billing details for an invoice).
The Site’s contact form does not send or store anything on our servers: it simply opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. We only receive the data if you send that email.
Data collected automatically
- Technical logs: when you visit the Site, our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, date and time, and similar request data to deliver the page, protect the Site against abuse and keep it secure.
- Preferences on your device: if you switch between light and dark mode, the Site stores that choice in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools on the Site, we do not build profiles of visitors, and our fonts are self-hosted, so your browser does not contact third-party font services.
4. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (where applicable, e.g. GDPR / LGPD) |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your messages and requests | Contact data, message content | Our legitimate interest in answering inquiries; steps prior to a contract at your request |
| Negotiate and perform agreements with partners, customers and suppliers | Contact and business relationship data | Performance of a contract |
| Deliver, secure and troubleshoot the Site | Technical logs | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure website |
| Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests) | As required | Legal obligation |
| Establish, exercise or defend legal claims | As required | Legitimate interest |
We do not sell your personal data, we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Our email and productivity provider — to receive and store email correspondence.
- Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers, registered agent) — when needed for legal, tax or corporate compliance.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
6. International transfers
FJV Tech is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located elsewhere, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Latin America, your data will be transferred to countries that may not offer the same level of protection as your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized by your local law.
7. How long we keep it
- Correspondence: up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless it becomes part of a business relationship.
- Contract, billing and accounting records: for as long as required by tax and corporate law (generally up to 7 years).
- Technical logs: for the short periods defined by our hosting provider for security and operations.
When we no longer need the data, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- data portability, to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
These rights are recognized by laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and other U.S. state privacy laws, Brazil’s LGPD, Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012, and Mexico’s federal data protection law, among others.
To exercise them, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (normally within 30 days) and may need to verify your identity first. You may also use an authorized agent where the law allows it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio in Colombia).
9. Security
We protect personal data with administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls based on least privilege, multi-factor authentication on our systems, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.
10. Children
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
